Dear Staff and Resident Family Members,
Since we are still taking every precaution to protect our residents and your family members from COVID-19, we respectfully ask that no flowers or gifts be delivered to the facility for the upcoming Mother’s Day holiday. While we understand your desire to honor your mothers, the risk for contamination during this pandemic is too great to allow such deliveries.
As you know, we tested our staff and residents this past Friday, April 24, 2020. We have been told by the Department of Health (DOH) not to expect results before this coming Friday, May 1st . If there are positive results among our residents, the DOH will notify our Infection Control Nurse, who will then direct the notification of the residents (and their families) who are positive. If there are positives among our staff, the DOH will notify the staff members directly.
You are receiving this message as you are listed as a contact for one or more of our residents. Please help us communicate this to your family members who may not have received this notice. Thank you for your cooperation in this difficult time. We will continue to provide you with updates as they become available. Please know we are strictly adhering to all directions from the local and state health departments.
